BFBC2 - Speed Improvements

This is not a hack or otherwise...however, I have tested that DX9 is a whole lot better for rendering of the game...

Goto:
C:\Users\[YourName]\Documents\BFBC2\

Edit
Settings.ini

Change DxVersion=auto to DxVersion=9

Save.

Enter Game (now you can also, override the lowest default of the video if your running an older card that will also increase the game performance - in the same file
Change Width=####, Height=####
to
Whatever you want it to be (make sure your video card/monitor can support it.)
Width=800
Height=600

That happened arbitrarily...the post count got replicated each time I ran the sql update....somewhere like 10 times...

I can't find our bfbc2 server, even though it may be up, EA doesn't find it when i search.

I just left the server - it is empty...check your filters.

We are Public Ranked 0 Pop.

Filters checked and no show in list. Would be nice if the server name search would work.

wish they would fix the browser they use, takes forever to refresh


garet, make sure they dont inactivate the server when zero people are on, i read that EA is having some server companies do that when 0 people are on to reduce the load on EA server

You have to do a full Refresh and no our server isn't turned off for the 8 hour idle.
